Set across generations, her work examines memory, silence, grief, resilience, love, and the emotional inheritance passed from mother to daughter.
Before becoming an author, Kitt spent years in nursing, caring for others during vulnerable moments of their lives. That experience deepened her understanding of resilience, tenderness, and the hidden emotional worlds people carry every day. Today, those truths shape the emotional core of her fiction.
WHY I WRITE
I write about women who learned how to survive before they ever learned how to live.
My stories explore emotional inheritance the things passed silently through generations: grief, resilience, silence, tenderness, fear, memory, and survival.
I’m drawn to the quiet moments that change people. The truths families bury. The identities women rebuild after loss, heartbreak, and survival.
The women in these stories are not searching for perfection.
They are searching for themselves.
And sometimes, that is the hardest journey of all.
