Promise Kept

Becoming Liz is out in the world.

This novel began with a woman trying to hold together a life that no longer fit her. A woman who believed control could protect her from what she refused to face.

Over time, the story became about memory, identity, family, survival, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again.

I wrote Elizabeth through years of life changes, exhaustion, doubt, work shifts, grief, revision, and persistence. There were moments when I thought this book might never leave my desk.

But some promises stay with you.

Years ago, I promised my mother I would finish this novel.

That promise is fulfilled.

Thank you to everyone who read early pages, encouraged me, shared this journey, and made space for this story.

Becoming Liz belongs to readers now.
